Pros
Negative Nancey's are less common here compared to most retail jobs. Fun to help customers and build relationships. (employee/customers) Customers are AWESOME! ~Great tools given to succeed. ~ Ok discount. DM's and some management loves to help people succeed. Fun to look good at work in the clothes! Laid back Store stays clean Easy fun job for the most part Everything was great at first. I was consistently being thanked for a job well done. Enjoyed working with the people I was hired in with. Quickly liked by customers. Had customers coming in to shop with me within the first month of being there. Creating HIGH sales, helping co-workers build their sales, getting credit cards. ect..
Cons
_IT'S COMMISSION_ This means they can start you out below minimum wage. Some employee's will steal your sales. Don't bother complaining, because you will be seen as negative. You will end up spending your paycheck here. This is ok for people that don't live on they're own i suppose. And have no bills. The clothes are high end. They expect you to wear the clothes. To advertise them, it will be easier to sell them. Makes since...The employee discount should be higher. You have to wear the clothes every day. You bank a whole 3% commission on your sales. That wasn't even great on a $800 sale... Management is unbalanced. When there is drama it feels like high school. This could have to do with the teen staff. The sales end is cut-throat-retail. My goodbye happened rather abruptly. I was given the boot in a nice way that was aggravating without explanation. I've found that this can happen more then it should.
