Pros

The Cheesecake Factory is the most professional restaurant I've worked at. The managers treat the serves/staff with professional respect and expect the same from the staff. They offer benefits, such as health insurance, which is unheard of as a server in the restaurant industry. Great food too, don't mind getting it for free on days I work a double shift!

Cons

You are a server and sometimes "guests" treat you like with little respect because of it. Late nights, smelly clothes and some nasty bussers.

Pros

who doesn't enjoy free dessert? As with many restaurant jobs, you have the opportunity to meet some very interesting and sociable people. Having cash in your hand at the end of the day is always nice, too.

Cons

Quality of management varies greatly by location, tip wages vary greatly by location, horrible employee food discount, vacation time is much too difficult to accumulate, annoying uniforms, and too much focus and emphasis on mundane and unimportant job aspects.
