      Toxic culture

      Pros

      Certain colleagues, business partners and leaders can be amazing to work with.

      Cons

      Some senior leaders have the tendency to micromanage to the extreme. This has led to Directors feeling unempowered and untrusted in their capabilities to handle work, their teams, and their business partner relationships. There is a disingenuous callout for input but leaders will punish you or react disproportionately if you don’t do it exactly their way. No appreciation of nuances or recognizing the need to adapt to a changing environment, including changes in personnel. I’m actively seeking new opportunities and will be glad to depart as mental health is being negatively impacted.

      Stable WFH but little growth opportunities

      Pros

      the job is tedious and workflows seem to always change but it centers around recieving doctor office requests to update something, and you clicking through Cignas software to submit a request to get it updated. Seems stable since there is such a high volume of requests and not enough staff.

      Cons

      Get pigeonholed into doing 1 thing and dont learn anything else for your career skills if you dont do learning outside of work
