Pros

Always interesting and management wants you to learn new things. There is a lot expected and you are given the flexibility to do your work. Working with smart, talented people everyday. Great exposure to some of the top companies in the world. Plenty of opportunities to be promoted.

Cons

Typical management consulting hours, nothing out of the ordinary and dependent on the project you may be on

Pros

Solid strategy consulting at highest levels of organizations. Lots of client interaction while working with smartest people. Great projects. Creative approaches. You'll learn more here in months than in years at other places.

Cons

Hard questions, tough projects, hands-on partners and lots of urgency means you have to stay on top of it and work hard. If you're not organized and want a 9 to 5, don't even try. Since it's a small place you can't stay under the radar.

DO NOT WORK HERE -- RUN!

Pros

Possibly office optional? Overall, I think this actually hurts the culture and enables abusive managers to hide behind computer screens

Cons

The management could not be worse (no actual training, high expectations, will make you feel worthless, will blame analysts for mistakes rather than taking accountability, poor communication between managers, no issues with berating junior team members, will take out stress in their personal life onto junior team members, etc -- I could go on forever). I actually laugh about how poorly run the company is and how much I hated this job. While working there, I and others were so stressed that we starting loosing our hair and appetite (and for women their periods). Work here if you want to be unhappy and balding in your 20s!!
