Pros

This isn't an "easy" job, but it's worth it. The leaders actually care about their people and will develop you if you're teachable, kind and you care about guests. If you want a chill job where you can vent- this isn't the place. They quickly and unapologetically cut ties with people who do not align with the mission of serving guests and each other. People who view work simply as a transaction will probably not enjoy their time at TEG. But if you're committed to hospitality and you genuinely care about the work, you can come in with no resume or experience and quickly develop an amazing career. I know many people who started at an hourly rate in a local store who now make great salaries in on their HR, Marketing, Operations, Software Development teams, etc. They promote solely from within for store management, and as much as possible for corporate teams. The C-Team leaders are incredible, smart, hard working, and genuine.

Cons

Working nights, weekends, holidays is required

Pros

The people who work here are fun.

Cons

They will cut you from the schedule with less than 12 hours notice. They will ask you to do work that is way above your paygrade. They will take your tips. You aren't allowed to be negative at work. You aren't allowed to talk about anything but work at work, even for a minute with your coworkers. They burn right through their workers, and there is no pay incentive for growth opportunities.
