Pros

- DOC paid holidays - get your foot in the door with the DOC.

Cons

- Never meet your supervisors - HR is useless - PTO is on the “use it or lose it” policy. Does not roll over. - no differentiation between vacation and sick time. It’s all the same. - pay is abysmal - benefits are expensive and terrible - for-profit company so you can’t use it for PSLF - feel unappreciated as an employee because the only feedback you get is from the supervision of the company that contracted you not the company you WORK for.
