Pros

It had great pay and room for over time. The staff was very friendly and the facility was new and clean.

Cons

They did not give us proper time to find new jobs after laying us off. They did not put out correct information regarding the potential layoff.

Pros

The non-management employees are usually a good group of people to work with. I have come across a couple of exceptions.

Cons

The corporate management at GEO are a bunch of bullies. I have witnessed a couple of directors and managers verbally and physically abuse their employees. Unfortunately, the employees are paid off to keep quiet about it so nothing ever gets done about it.

Pros

There are no pros the pay is ridiculously low for the work they expect you to do and for what you have to put up with from inmates.

Cons

Employees there are the worst kind of people they are worst then the inmates they are supervising which is scary to think about. They make it hard to work there if you are even the slightest bit a decent person stay away from this place it will turn you into something you're not. Management is bad and are buddies with lower employees so they have favorites. very high turn over rate people walk in and walk right out the door in the same shift.
