Intro to working a prison setting, not much over time

Cons

We recieved new furniture but no pay raise, pay is low for the amount of work we do, at times, staff treats the inmates better than staff.

I do enjoy making an impact in inmates lives by helping them improve their education and moral / religious values.

Cons

A management team that changes the duties of the employees, requiring instructors to work as officers during down time. Requiring salary employees to work as hourly employees, telling employees they will be terminated if they leave early after their job assignment is complete. Having different standards for different employees in the same department. Last, overlooking most stuff, while making a big deal out of what they choose to.
