Pros

Honestly there are much better places to work for the pay range and more consistent salary.

Cons

Working aline handing multiple customers, literally no management or guidance, upper management watches you on cameras all day and nitpicks from afar, Houston market is terrible and your sales suffer from lack of traffic, yelled at for poor marketing that leads to confused people coming in and if you don’t sell them something it’s your fault, LIES ABOUT PAY RANGE YOU WILL BE PAID UNDER 60K IN HOUSTON MARKET! No opportunity to grow, they will just have you stay as sales consultant and not promote you while you manage a whole store alone.

Pros

The commission benefits are not bad.

Cons

*This review is specifically for the Cotton-Owned franchises encapsulating VA, MD, NC, OH and DC* This company actively sells you an idealized version of itself and its morals, advocating for employee-first rights and care for their customers. This is false, as with any company, sales at the extent of all else is their bottom line. -Favoritism and nepotism are rampant throughout management. -They repeatedly make false promises while stunting employees' professional growth, despite still expecting blind obedience. -Higher management will actively talk negatively about their employees. -Complete lack of work-life balance. -Expect even base-level employees to take on more of a workload than their job description without proper compensation or even acknowledgment. -Casual comments of racism and sexism are not unusual. -Improperly handled sexual harassment cases. -The Saturday lunches they promise are not guaranteed. -Objective outside family and friends have referred to the company as a "cult".
