      Good company but has some problems

      Pros

      good benefits adequate pay great employees lower level employees are team players and great to work with

      Cons

      lack of communication, important information does not make it to the people that need it. Disorganized. Product seems to hide from reality. The systems are antiquated and inefficient. Money being spent on some of the current systems seems to be a waste; there comes a time when you need to start over and build something that works for the current business needs instead of trying to fix something that is never going to work for the curent and future needs of the business.

      Pros

      Company is small enough to offer a wide degree of experiences. Access to Senior Leadership is excellent. CEO is truly an Insurance Executive. FLP Program is good to increase college talent into Insurance

      Cons

      Employees are given too much credit for length of employment with the company over actual experience. Management when it comes to addressing performance issues is slow to act and does not take a proactive approach.

      Small company that cares, but little room for advancement because of company size

      Pros

      The company has a "franchise" attitude towards the business- this can be good, because it gives you the opportunity to be creative. Manager in CL department sincerely cares about his staff, and is very supportive of their decision making and for balancing work/ life issues.

      Cons

      Systems are horrible and make it difficult to complete even the most simple task. Service issues run rampant, and underwriters typically take the brunt of anything that goes wrong. Very difficult to see a career path due to small company size. Be prepared to stay in your position for a long time.
