Pros

Flexible work arrangements, friendly consultants/coworkers

Cons

Severely underpaid and overworked based on the market. Mixed desk of personal and commercial lines with pendings at 150+ for litigation/complex coverage and injury. No transparency from management on the standard pending, staffing issues, market pay adjustments, or ethical claim handling by entry level reps (where your pending comes from as a consultant, who also make the same salary you do) along with painfully high pendings as people continue to leave and retire leaving those handling claims with no work life balance.

Pros

They seem to be backing off of the heavy DEI push, but that sways with outside social/government pressure

Cons

Compensation for loyal employees really degrades over time as they do not give raises outside of a small annual adjustment unless you are promoted.
