Pros

The pay is competitive with other companies and the benefits are better than most retail stores. The customers that I encounter are fantastic for the most part, and management is very supportive.

Cons

The shifts tend to be scattered all over the board, which makes it difficult for a life outside work, and the interviewing process for promotions is too structured, which allows for someone with great speaking skill but not really qualified for the position to be promoted.

Pros

It has stores within commuting distance of a large portion of the population. It does not have stringent requirements for employment.

Cons

There is no such thing as TGIF. Shift work syndrome is rampant. No holiday's off. Compensation and incentives have dropped.
