Pros

Job security (to an extent, as long as mortgage interest rates stay stable). Lifelong friendships with some of the colleagues. Always innovative and keeping up with the latest trends.

Cons

Lots of favoritism in the workplace and work is not distributed evenly. Very hard to move around and try new things - other managers are very territorial and want to stick with their lines of business until the day they die. Senior managers are younger than managers and the gaps in experience and people skills show. The project management teams (PMO, CAM) are not good and rarely in office or meetings. Great place if you want to coast by but you will struggle to find your voice if you want to grow. Health benefits are the worst in my opinion based off all my previous employers.

Cons

-Toxic managers and team members aren’t held accountable, when ASM wants to hold somebody account they have to reach out to HR. -Hardly any time off, hard to start a family -Wishy washy with safety standards -Lots of work, almost hard to keep up
