Pros

-Office mates were cool -Sometimes there would be office happy hours -Learn basic sales skills

Cons

-Incredibly long hours (7a-7p most days), no work/life balance as the managers essentially required you to work way beyond hours in the office -Could not take time off without getting scolded by managers. You fear for your job if you take even a long weekend away. There are laws against this and I would not be surprised if someone were to file labor complaints against this company one day as some managers did not approve time off requests simply because someone wasn't "hitting their numbers." Again, there are employment laws against this. -Commission vs draw -Upper management are micromanagers who want to know every phone call you make, how many phone calls you make, always want to know what you're doing. -Culture is family oriented but unless you are part of that Judge family clique, you will not be advancing your career into the executive levels of the company. -Promotions are based on how much money you make. A "Director" or "EVP", etc is just a fancy way of saying "I've billed more than you." Essentially, you're still a recruiter/account manager.

Thank you for your review. Recruiting is a notoriously tough industry that can require long hours at times in order to complete your responsibilities. The management team actively works with, and mentors, recruiters in order to help them balance their workload. All promotions within the company are merit-based. We do our best to be accommodating for time off requests, however, we do need to make sure there is proper coverage in the office at all times. Should you have any questions or comments in the future, please feel free to contact us at customerservice@judge.com.
