Pros

Doing good work with interesting donors. Overall supportive bosses. Opportunity to travel to preserves and see conservation work. Exposure to many different teams at the worldwide office.

Cons

Repetitive data entry. Lack of communication across hierarchy. Lack of career path. Some disparity between out the door fundraisers and support staff.

Pros

Smart, passionate people. Very committed to the mission doing critical work really needed by nature. Pragmatic and effective, truly bipartisan with influential leaders, donors and trustees who can get a seat at the table to champion nature.

Cons

Well established systems which can be cumbersome at times. We still manage to create great impact, but we can be a slow moving ship at times. People like working here, and leaders stay in their positions for decades providing limited career opportunities for other staff.
