Pros

This company has a fantastic mission and is doing big, incredible work to preserve our planet. I believe firmly in what they stand for, and think that in general, TNC is an unparalleled organization when it comes to environmental change.

Cons

The office I worked in had horrible leadership. Management was frequently at odds with one another, and this created a ripple effect of poor communication, people being on different pages constantly, and employees being left to fend for themselves and later being held responsible for issues that arose that were clearly the result of poor management and bad communication. Leadership was frequently unavailable, and employees were not held to the same standards. Favoritism and discrimination were very much part of the culture of this office specifically. In the bigger organization, I don't think this was as much of a problem, but that didn't have any positive impact on my own experience.

Pros

Fun, open, collaborative environment and interesting work make this a great place to work. Smart, motivated coworkers and a "we take care of our own" approach to doing things.

Cons

At its core, it's a huge company with thousands of employees in a ton of different countries, so there can be associated pains if you're used to working in a much smaller company.
