Pros

Excellent colleagues dedicated to conservation, smart and willing to share information and mentor. Great exchanges of information and thought, good collaboration, big thinkers with can do attitudes.

Cons

Pay can be lousy and not everyone has a chance for promotion. State leadership and priorities vary widely. Organizational bureaucracy can weigh you down!

Pros

Great staff, amazing cause and changes made, training is good, and very experienced staff. I have enjoyed working with everyone I've encountered over the past 10 years in all areas of the organization not just the one I work in. Everyone who works at TNC is dedicated and passionate about what they do.

Cons

Not a lot of opportunity to move up within the organization. Recent changes have made it a bit more of an unstable working environment.
