Pros

TNC has a very unique and strong work culture, filled with people who genuinely care about the mission and each other.

Cons

As with any nonprofit organization, compensation can be lower (compared to working in industry), but the culture of care, mission, and impact of TNC's work makes it worthwhile.

Pros

- highest salaries i've seen in the conservation sector - great benefits (medical, dental, vision, 10 days off when start up to 25 at the 5 year mark, etc) -opportunity for growth is you play the game

Cons

- some teams can very toxic - people get promoted to people leadership positions from technical roles without support on how to be a good manager - decentralized leadership model makes things confusing
