Pros

None that I know of.

Cons

I went through the interview process and was "offered the job" (told "I would like to offer you the position" by the interviewer who asked if I could come on a certain day for a training without mentioning whether or not they would need me everyday that week/if it was consecutive training days/etc...you turn out to be asked your availability during the trainings in front of everyone, which is fun), the welcome packet emails all said "welcome to the team", yet they waited until the training slideshow (two-thirds of the way into the slideshow, when it really should've been in the onboarding emails) to mention that the first three days of QCing (after the slideshow and demonstration portions are done) are a TRIAL period, and in order to "MAKE the team" you have to hit a certain number of registrations an hour (despite being new to the rules and regulations/software of how to do so), and if you don't, your "job offer" is rescinded and you will NOT "make the team". This is all happens AFTER completing the initial languages interview + being "offered a position", filling out the onboarding paperwork/I9/ADP/etc, and in the middle of the training. The only thing they mention about the first days verbally or in writing before you start the training is that you will learn QC and you'll have a shift manager you can ask questions to when you start doing the QC yourself. At no point do they mention "making staff" or "the first three days being a trial" or "we will need to see you hit this many registrations an hour in three days (while also getting used to the process) or you won't have a job". If I had known going into this that they would "offer" me something, have me do onboarding paperwork, go through the training group (you are trained and quizzed in a group setting for a day or so before QCing, heads up if you are an introvert, shy, or don't like classroom settings, the job itself is isolated when not calling people or during start of shift/after break meetings), and THEN go through a trial period where the standard is that you are up to par with people who've being doing it for months in three days or less or you don't have a job, and it's $16/hour not $17 like the posting says...if it was accurately presented this way in the application form, I would not have filled it out. I'm sure the format works for other people but, solid communication/transparency can be an important component for trust and respect for some, and it was very lacking in this experience.
