Pros

Leadership is receptive to new ideas, the pay is great, hours are good, the work is important. If you like startup culture mixed with progressive politics, this is an ideal place to work.

Cons

You are the only director in charge of a team of staff so if you like having a bunch of peers in the office with you it can be a challenge/feel a little bit lonely, but campaign offices always feel like a big team even if folks work for you.

Pros

The people are awesome, plus you get to work on issues that you really care about and make a difference. Also you get paid well vs. other groups that are similar.

Cons

It's a start-up so there are kinks to work through. But it seems like everyone is really trying hard to fix those kinks together.
