Pros

Semi-decent pay When first being hired quick communication

Cons

After being hired very low communication. Going into second year didn't tell until a day before the start date that the school district didn't renew all of the previous contracts. They then 'looked' for other jobs but slowly ghosted until they asked to be paid back for the insurance from during the time they 'looked'.

Pros

My first year went well. Good salary.

Cons

But after that first year, I got very little support despite reaching out and asking for help, an unmanageable caseload, and benefits promised were not delivered.

Cheap; demeaning

Pros

They offer some flexible schedules

Cons

Very very stingy with pay. Always finding excuses to deny you a raise or a bonus, they’ll even deny you a cost of living adjustment (how on earth does that legally happen??). Anything money related is weird with them. They only wanna praise you with a stupid “shoutout” on teams. I was even discouraged from moving up, being told I “wouldn’t like” the position.
