Leadership strives to add value to its employees' professional skillsets, instead of merely extracting it from them, by providing ample training, professional development, and growth opportunities. Leadership is transparent about its organizational decisions and values. The work is intrinsically rewarding and you can feel just by being present in the building how much the staff cares about making life better for the children we serve. In addition to being intrinsically rewarding, there is a digital reward program that fosters positivity and encouragement among coworkers.
Cons
Burnout can be high in this field. Turnover can also be high in this field, but at least the turnover we see here at The Unumb Center is for good reason (i.e. employees who are students may leave because they're moving on to the next step in their career)
Working at The Unumb Center is very rewarding - the best part of the position is the time spent with clients. Administration is incredibly understanding and supportive. During my time in this position the company has evolved into a motivating and flexible organization; supervisors are approachable and relatable.
Cons
Reimbursement from insurance companies could be higher for RBT position, but company offers paid admin time and reward platform. Burnout is a con across the field.
