A Posture of Gratefulness

Pros

I am an aspiring journalist. To be an employee and have my name associated with The Washington Post, one of the most prestigious publications in the country, if not the world, at the beginning of my career is such a blessing.

Cons

It's a business; and business can be tough and at times messy. You will have to know (or quickly learn) how to properly advocate for yourself because very few will do it for you.
