Pros

The Post has a very collegial environment. They reward performance rather than longevity, and for a company facing significant industry changes, they continue to invest in growth areas.

Cons

The Post can sometimes straddle the line between making a big bet, but under-dedicating resources to it. It has a strong culture that favors people who have cut their teeth in sales - though this is changing with the increased investment in the tech group.

Pros

The people are hard-working, intelligent, and passionate—and often very kind, to boot. The benefits are quite good for freelancers and part-timers.

Cons

The only significant downside relates to media generally today—it does not receive as much financial support as an organization of this importance deserves. People are often stretched fairly thin for this reason.

Young management - friction with employees based on their inexperience managing experienced sales people. Major shift in business model and results put a lot of pressure on everyone
