Pros

Name recognition is good, that's the best thing I can say.

Cons

Poor management. Micromanaging is the way they run their sales departments. HR is a whole other issue, especially their lack of communication.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review – we appreciate it when former employees take the time to leave us feedback. We’re disappointed to hear that you feel there was poor communication in the HR department and poor management in the Sales department. At The Washington Post, manager training is something we are committed to and work on throughout the year with our “Take the Lead” series and The Leadership Project. We would love it if you would email us at life@washpost.com with more details so we can do better in the future.

Pros

- Very flexible with time and can work from home. - Open to and takes suggestions seriously - My manager helps me build a path for my career - Everyone is helpful, like you can literally find help anywhere anytime. The key is "communication"

Cons

- I haven't been into any team building activity yet so I assume it's not a thing at the Post - No company outings :D - Very rare salary raise and I'm not sure how someone will be eligible for it. Does it even happen? How often?
