Pros

Company based out of Sweden and has plants and facilities in multiple countries. Has a U.S. division based out of Atlanta Georgia, and plant and quarries from Georgia to Raleigh NC area. Mostly newer equipment to work with and mostly a decent atmosphere to work in. There is a bonus program that varies by percentage and based on regional forecasted goals and performance. Benefits available and potential cost of living percentage raises.

Cons

Both equipment and actual plant maintenance departments are ran on patch and bandaid until it breaks theory. Some micro-managing, but not enough addressing issues with plant and shop maintenance issues. Equipment shop is ran as a different company out of HQ in Atlanta and answer/report to different management based in Atlanta. Continuous adding on of work, responsibilities, especially paperwork and redundancies without added compensation. Manager at this plant is required to operate the entire plant and yard, including most maintenance, batching concrete/unloading incoming materials and outgoing concrete trucks. All office, inventory, safety, environmental, equipment and plant maintenance, paperwork daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually, Solo. No assistant, no batch person, and no yard person or loader operator. Withh the exceptional help on extra heavy production days, if available. The company initiated a improvement plan for pay flexibility and overall treatment of all drivers, a few years ago, but has yet to address the same with its plant hourly and is lower management team on the ground. Not guaranteed of course but usually get a cost of living increase, but NO actual PAY raise!!
