Pros

You can work from anywhere. Great place start but I wouldn’t stay longer than a year. Nice people

Cons

The only way to get promoted is if you’re consistently working 60+ hours a week. People that have been promoted only get promoted after 2-3 years and they put their lives and souls into the job. They’ll tell you that you have a great work life balance, but you won’t. They are incredibly under staffed and don’t have the funds to hire more people to even out the work. Everyone’s running around like chickens without heads. It’s so wild that they don’t have time to have a culture. They’re constantly changing the way they do things. Literally every month. It feels like a start up but they’re not. The people are really great to work with but no one has time to help you because they’re constantly putting out fires. It feels like a lot of the employees are brainwashed into thinking that this is as good as it gets, so they work like it’s the only job they’ll ever get. Really great talent but they could live a much less anxious life at another company. They’ll say that you can take PTO if you give enough notice, but they expectancy is that you give them a couple months notice since they are understaffed. Everyone is underpaid for the amount that they work.

Join with high hopes, leave crushed and burnt out

Pros

when you start, you feel like there is an incredible culture and feeling of 'family'

Cons

A few weeks in, you realize everything is on fire. The leadership team can't make a decision to save their life. Or when they do, they make super impulsive, risky decisions that make no sense. There is zero alignment at the top. The now CEO continues to let go of people who don't agree with her and hire people from her past.. similar to the way dictators do... She is running the company into the ground. They allow terrible treatment of employees, expect so much, and will feed you lies to keep you drinking the kool-aid. Everyone there is burnt out. I continuously watched new hires come on with great energy and excitement and within weeks they begin to deflate... realizing what this place actually is.
