Pros

People are truly stellar. I knew that the team is good from my interview experience but did not anticipate that the quality of folks will be this good. Good combination of build vs buy/borrow. Strong engineering mindset from design to delivery. Management has been very balanced so far spanning career growth as well as learning. Strong learning focus than anywhere I have seen. I feel that I'm both growing as an engineer here as well as growing in impact and recognition.

Cons

401K program is better than my previous startups but some matching would be good.

Pros

- very interesting startup environment, with a more mature feeling. company is progressing rapidly but with great caution. like nothing I’ve ever been a part of. I feel like every year I work here is 2 years of experience. - lots of hard workers and very, very talented and smart people. the amount of knowledge and experience here is amazing, and collaboration is very high. - lots of opportunities to try and fail. failure is accepted well here. - great benefits, outstanding health insurance, flexibility in vacation - it's very rewarding to help build a company culture. - product is super cool, and really feels futuristic.

Cons

- typical fast-paced startup environment. being prepared for it is key, otherwise things can catch up to you. sometimes feels 24 x 7. - noticeably high turnaround for some departments. - some people can be stretched for time and do a lot. communication is not always consistent in places it should be, but other places are outstanding. - diversity initiatives are laughable at best.
