Pros

Company has a structure very close to a flat hierarchy. Most people are really smart, and fun to work with. Company is fairly keen towards keeping its employees happy.

Cons

Compensation is not at par with the best, considering the sort of talent they seek. They have their philosophy around why it should be that way, but the times have changed since the time of inception of this company and so should their philosophy or else they will continue to lose good talent to that bunch of upcoming smart companies who offer almost everything that TW offer, along with exciting challenge and good pay. Another thing is that they seem to be stuck up in terms of the kind of projects they are taking. One might feel like a bit unused to their full potential. Some of the big long going projects have a fairly large number of people who are mere cribbers, so that sort of negativity on the floor sometimes hurt your productivity or the satisfaction that you might have otherwise acquired from your work.

Pros

* You set your own bar - and you need to set it high :) * You don't need to be manager - ever !!! * Hard work , Brilliance and knowledge is key for success - you learn continuously to be at par of other thought-workers - as they also learning every day * Reading is valued - and recommended * People connect is important - to connect to other people, you don't need to be talkative or extrovert - Honest people are liked by other thought-workers. * Your demonstrated skills are valued more than your experience on paper * What you did today matters more than what you did yesterday * Salary is not the (only) reason for me to work for Thoughtworks. There are many other reasons as well. My friends in other companies can't believe it. lol, * Senior management are available without any appointments. - they don't have cabins, so they can always sit in front of you.

Cons

* very limited work from home options for mothers of small kids or anybody else in need * Some people may come across to you as arrogant
