Pros

Want to be a part of a company that's actually solving tough problems for applications and services that many of us use on a daily basis? Look into joining the talented pool of employees at ThousandEyes. The company has evolved tremendously over the last few years -- the revenues continue to go up and to the right as they add house-hold logos as their customers, they have an incredible knack for being fiscally responsible (i.e. don't waste $) and the management team is on the same page for the most part.

Cons

Company has plenty of perks, but needs to ensure 'culture' doesn't dwindle across their various office locations.

Toxic micro-management

Pros

Lots of t-shirts and backpacks...

Cons

Some people decide, all the little guys have to execute the last decision in emergency. The priority will change next week anyway. The processes and the code quality is atrocious but an army of submissive engineers will manually push the right buttons to keep the boat floating. It's a company built around manager progress, so they need as much reports as possible, hence the need to have the worst processes to ensure the need of manual labor. Cisco might discover the scam at some point. I don't know a single person happy or not in fear of top management, the turnover is quite high, the harassment permanent. It's a stain on a resume.

Pros

Compensation is good but that is about it.

Cons

The cons are numerous - toxic managers, constant micromanagement, leadership that talks badly about their own fellow colleagues behind their backs, no career growth or advancement opportunities. The product is bloated with lots of tech dept and is so much hype and just simply lagging behind the industry with no signs of improvement or solid direction. I'd give less than 1 star if I could.
