Pros

Fair salary with great benefits available. New initiatives in the not for profit aspect keep work interesting and challenging. Opportunities to develop oneself professionally. Potential for upward movement within the organization.

Cons

Across the nation, one can have a very different work experience based merely on the regional office to which he reports. The managing philosophies of each region do not necessarily align with corporate branding. Even though a not for profit, it is a business in the financial services industry and production is king.

Pros

Paid throughout your first year if you meet sales goals. Solid management. Great reputation.

Cons

Not as well known as Edward Jones or Ameriprise. Needs improvement at the corporate level, more innovation & better processes.
