      Rovi took bought out TiVo. Immature leadership. Redundancy everywhere. layoffs galore. More coming!!!

      Pros

      This was an innovative company, at one time. It should be one of the cool places to work in Silicon Valley. TiVo invented the DVR, now lawsuits pay for easter egg hunt parties.

      Cons

      It is not a fun place to be. The CEO doesn't have any passion for entertainment, or care about the employees. They are expendable. There are too many people doing what--engineering? Why no innovation since 2000? Stay far, far away from this mess.

      Pros

      You get a free TiVo if you become an Alpha tester.

      Cons

      Too many managers, confusing procedures, no sense of leadership (no wonder with so many managers). The company has not decided yet if they do Scrum or not and as a result they don't do neither Scrum nor Waterfall right and projects are always late.
