Pros

Hours are awesome. Pay is decent. People are awesome and what could be better then building boats by hand?

Cons

I am fast learner and great with my hands. I am also extremely mechanical inclined. I find great satisfaction in building somthing with my hands. Therfore, I took off like a rocket. In fact I did well enough that I began training new TM's after only six weeks with to company. That being said, the resources provided to me to facilitate said training are non existent. I am simply handed a new TM. That is it. If you know what you are doing and are passionate about building boats then you will be fine. But don't expect a "training program" . The best advice I can give is to dive right in stay busy and be hands on. Ask questions and look over shoulders. If you really want to build boats for a great company then you will find a way to excel.

Great company with great people. Manufacturing atmosphere is a bit harsh

Pros

Great benefits and family atmosphere. Management was very understanding and positive more often than not

Cons

Lamination area messy and difficult work. Office environment great but wages not competitive enough.
