Pros

Decent salary and that’s pretty much it

Cons

So many complaints about this company. They want you to do your work (and the work of 3 other people) but do not provide proper training material or update information. In reference to work/life balance I was told during my interview that they prided themselves on flexibility and balancing life and work. Well that was lies. My time in scrutinized and micromanaged and as a salaried employee. Time off is nothing special. You get three weeks and the bare minimum of holidays. And god forbid you try to use sick time. The company offers 10 sick days which you use or lose but they encourage you NOT to use it and tell your your performance score can be affected by using sick time. All in all it was a bad decision coming to this company. I should have stuck it out in my prior role Until a better opportunity came about.

Pros

-Great discounts... that's about it at the current moment.

Cons

Where to begin. Horrible management, I mean the worst I have seen at any company I have worked for. Managers that curse and scream on a daily basis, pretend to work, make racist remarks, stay in there office, complain about their employees being stupid. That's just to name a few of the things I've seen over the past years. The store has been hemorrhaging employees to the point there is no one left. No one wants to come to work anymore because of the atmosphere. And upper management couldn't care less. Sales have been down for quite some time and the economy doesn't match the sales plan numbers which just go up yearly. Upper management just sits and smiles with there 7+ figure incomes. While the lower employees and back bone of the company slowly die mentally and financially. It's an insane circle that I've never seen at any other company. And good luck trying to advance because there are no positions and no room to advance. They will tell you otherwise when you get hired and lie about advancing but believe me you will find nothing since all management and upper management is given to outside luxury competitor company positions to try and get an upper hand on other companies. Its a VERY toxic ecosystem that just will not last. Everyone I know wants to quit.

Pros

Employee Store, Good for the Resume, Amazing History, Made some great friends, Amazing Customer Service which does not disappoint.

Cons

The quality and capability of the leadership group at this company is unfortunate. Yes, there are some extremely talented minds at different levels, but as the company spirals to a bad place they are bleeding talent. The management team will take no risks at all. The company has created a highly reactive environment where the leaders on the mid to lower levels of management are really followers at heart. The higher executives set a great example for the rest of the company by earning more money (high 7 to low 8 figures) with sales down and most employees earning a fraction of what they made the previous year. Management seems disinterested to do anything about sales professionals being put in precarious financial positions. Expectations are not changed with traffic and sales drastically down so moral is understandably low. The company has created a culture where there is no listening whatsoever from the bottom up, only from the top down. This has lead to out of touch executives making poor decisions because they don't know what's going on at the retail level. There is also absolutely no mobility within this company (regardless of education, intelligence, experience, or character) with the only reason given is that it's just the way that things are done.
