Former manager, then became underpaid and overworked
Pros
Customers were also fun to talk to.
Cons
No benefits whatsoever. Corporate verbally dominates management when things are not perfect. Extreme mouse problem (a dead, cooked mouse was found inside one of the ovens once). Corporate overworks the GM, they do not pay overtime. Sets high standards for all the managers that are being paid 50 cents less than they were promised. Deteriorating work and social environment when only those who put too much in effort for what they are paid for are left. Dead mall. Dead weekday traffic. Despite the store making less than it has to pay it's workers, we are expected to always uphold redundant rules during days where we make less than 50 dollars out of all the drawers set out for that day. Useless job experience.
