Pros

It's simple, and easy to understand. Quite repetitive, and hard to mess up once you understand what's expected of you

Cons

It's very repetitive. There's a lot of standing, and it gets extrodinarily boring after even a week.

Pros

The best reason to work here: Misery loves company.

Cons

Corporate HQ's located back east, every year, VP's visit and look for ways to cut costs - 90% of the time that involves layoffs of your friends, co-workers, eventually YOU. Nothing done locally - "news" comes off the wire, advertising is emailed to production house in Manilla, and any romantic notion of working for a strong journalistic newspaper is dashed against the sharp rocks of the publisher's unwillingness to offend any of the advertisers.
