I appreciate you leaving your feedback, although I’m disappointed to read about your experience. Your review indicates that you’re a former employee, so I’m unsure of when you left Toast, but based on your feedback, it sounds like it was quite a while ago. Let me tell you about our team now. The recruiting team has doubled in size over the past year and we’re proud to welcome teammates at all stages of their careers and lives to our team. We’ve also made significant upgrades to our benefits program this year, so in addition to unlimited PTO and our sabbatical program, we’ve enhanced our health insurance offerings, improved our parental leave policy and added a fitness reimbursement policy.
Similar to many other tech companies, we do offer a variety of free snacks and beverages to all employees, with the expectation that our employees will act responsibly. Our employee events are a mix of social gatherings, often times family friendly , volunteer opportunities, and learning opportunities.
