      Was lucky enough to have a fantastic team of people in the communities I worked in. If you can handle it, it's a great job

      Strong reputation and history in the homebuilding industry. Exposure to large-scale projects and opportunities to learn about multiple aspects of real estate development, construction, and customer service. Talented and driven colleagues who take pride in their work. Clear company values (Be the Best, Do the Right Thing, Take Care of Each Other, Delight the Customer, Create Value, Honor Our History) that guide culture and decision-making. Good stepping stone for building a career in development, construction management, or sales.

      Fast-paced environment with heavy workloads; work-life balance can be a challenge depending on the team/division. Processes can feel highly structured, leaving less room for flexibility or innovation at the lower levels. Benefits and compensation are solid but can vary depending on role and location. Communication between corporate and local divisions could be improved.

      Terrible Place to Work

      Pros

      Literally nothing. From the start of the hiring process it was a mess. The director is not there anymore who hired us, to no surprise.

      Cons

      Work culture, would not listen to the sales people to make improvements, was talked down to by management (once again, this director is not with the company anymore, sorry to her current company) favoritism to certain sales associates, lack of training processes, clunky systems to get contracts out to the customer, so many things wrong. Wouldn't even recommend a consumer to buy a home here.
