Awful Company to Work For!

Pros

The best thing about work at this company is that the benefits are very good. They probably have one of the best benefits package in the industry.

Cons

Wow, where do I begin? This company has no regards for its employees. They are very unfair and will forget that you have a family. Although we are completely understaffed, they continue to pile on more and more work that should be handled by upper management. Marketing does not do its job to market the communities. They instead claim that they are so busy and that the people working in the communities need to think of ways to market their own communities, which takes away from selling and time with customers. All this always leads to unhappy homeowners. In addtion they take FOREVER to build a home! For a small 2000 sq. ft. home they will take about 12 months. While other large builders can build the same home in 4 months. The pay is awful and the hours are long. Expect to work more than 50 hours a week and forget about having any days off.

Pros

I can definitely say that their benefits are better than other companies for sure. There are some perks for working there. We can get employee discounts for various things. They have flexible hours, which is a bonus.

Cons

Long hours and untrained HR staff when it comes to dealing with employee issues. Some staff are required to stay extra hours for the Monday night meetings which are unpaid.
