Pros

Tom James is the biggest and best in the industry, owning all its own manufacturing facilities allows great control of quality, value and flexibility to serve clients. Developing long term relationships with clients that trust you is the best part along with being able to own great quality clothing and part ownership of the company through the stock scheme.

Cons

You need to be able to do the job of several people here, and that does not suit everyone. You source and develop all your clients, fit, deliver and serve them yourself. Essentially you have to work as if it is your own business, but with the support that goes with a large company.

Pros

I have been with with Tom James company for 3 years now and it is the best company I have ever worked for and the best Jon I have ever had. It's like a big family and I have made some many life long friends here. The training provided is exceptional and the support from leaders and colleagues is better than I have experienced in any other job. The perks are great too! I get to go to america twice a year for our bi-annual conference, I normally fly or a week before the conference to explore the city where the conference is being held. All of these trips are paid for by Tom James. The commission structure is great. I made £58,000 in my first year here and was rewarded with bonus trips to Sorrento, Italy and St Moritz Skiing in Switzerland, again all payed for by the company. They even paid for my mother and father to come on the trips with me. My clients are some of the most successful business people in London and they really appreciate the great service which we offer them. I couldn't promote Tom James enough and am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to work here. I know I will stay here for the rest of my career.

Cons

It is hard work and you have to put in the man hours in your first 2 years but this is a sales role and if you are willing to put in the effort then you a rewarded greatly in commission and other perks like reward trips and bonuses.

Pros

Tom James is good company and I would recommend for a Graduate Job for someone straight out of university. They do push you to be more driven, and Goal orientated. You'll fly to America twice a year for on going training throughout your time with them. They do invest in the people they hire.

Cons

very very long hours, with no social life, as you'll probably also have to work weekends and bonus and OTE pay isn't a guaranteed. I think the market is captured. The type of guys they are going after, are already using them, used them, or has heard of them but not interested in using them. This makes growing your clients harder.
