Thanks for taking the time to share your perspective! Our opportunity, which is more entrepreneurial in nature than most, does have its share of hard work and long hours at certain times and seasons, especially when starting out. It is great that you were able to persevere and build your business.

Thanks for taking the time to share your perspective! We do like to take the opportunity when relevant to point out to any potential reader’s feedback: MLMs or "pyramid schemes" by nature are companies that build revenue through representative fees in addition to actual product sales. An MLM will typically charge for training/conferences, offer no benefits, hire only 1099 contractors, and in some cases require representatives to commit to purchasing a certain amount of product. By contrast, Tom James covers training 100%, including two week-long international conferences to locations like the JW Marriott-Marco Island and the Hilton Downtown Austin. All expense paid for the employee. We provide fully comprehensive medical coverage, a robust benefits program, and our employees are W2'd employees. We offer a traditional 401(k) matching program, employee ownership, and a profit sharing program where we share our profits back to the employees at the end of each year. Yes, we are a direct sales company, but no, we are not an MLM or pyramid-style company. Outside of those couple of clarifiers, again, we are thankful for the review and wish you all the best in your next endeavor!

Pros

Sales experience and client relationships

Cons

This is was a horrible experience they do not know how to run an office. They kept hiring new people and not focusing on the new reps that already had. I watched 6 people quit within 1 year that just got hired. Most new people only last about 3 months then they quit. The pay is not good. They will work you like a dog, they will tell you “you don’t want it bad enough” after working 70 hours that week. Bad experience do not work here i promise it’s bad!

As a company that really strives to build and develop people, we are sorry to hear you had a negative experience. Without being argumentative, we do like to take the opportunity when relevant to point out to any potential reader’s feedback that is factually incorrect. While we appreciate feedback of any variety, it is also important to be factual: - We do not expect 70 hour workweeks from our new partners. In general, this is not our management style. It is TRUE that many of the people we attract choose to work very hard in their first years of building their clientele. Our belief is that if we help people develop goals for the life they want to build, and help them develop an activity plan to accomplish those goals, they will use both their work ethic and their efficiency/creativity to figure out how to achieve them on a monthly basis. While it does take hard work to get your business off the ground here, it is not our culture to enforce a specific hourly requirement. Thank you again for leaving your comments.
