There are excellent, dedicated people at TPS. Most people are willing to go above and beyond to achieve results. Lots of freedom.

Cons

Poor communication from management. Often, the expected results and objectives are not articulated. There is not enough focus on long term, big picture issues.

Cons

The company frequently relies on workforce reductions and canceling active projects to artificially bolster short-term financial gains.There is a "smartest person in the room" mentality among long-tenured senior management. This creates a bubble where leadership is often resistant to outside feedback or modernizing the business, even when clear signs of decline are present.Constant pivoting and the abandonment of key initiatives to meet quarterly numbers have created an unstable environment, signaling a lack of a sustainable long-term roadmap.
