Pros

- Well-paced work environment with reasonable expectations - Good health benefits - Fairly reasonable hybrid WFH policy (3d in office, 2d WFH), though management has been flexible about this depending upon departmental needs. - Supportive management - Clear expectations of output - Life-work balance has been good so far; no unreasonable expectations about being available 24/7 - Believe it or not, cubicle-style office seating is much better than open floor plans that startups seem to be in love with for no reason

Cons

- Sub-par salaries for the locale (Bay Area California) - Onboarding was minimal and lacking substantial information about product lineup, etc. - Slower paced environment. While it is nice to have reasonable deadlines, sometimes things can take a little longer to come to fruition than one would like

Pros

The industries in which Topcon Positioning works with/in are apart of the infrastructure and develop in the nation as a whole, therefore, you can rest in the job security that the industry will continue to grow and in fact boom over the next decade.

Cons

Develop new, contemporary ways of releasing products, generating work flow and stop the over the cubicle style of work. Many employees have made this their long term vocation and therefore see no other way of thinking about projects, timeliness and developments, but you will not be able to attract top young talent without a chance in the way you approach business. We are no longer in the 1980's/1990's corporate office culture.
