First, just so you know I'm not leaving this review out of spite; I willingly left Tory Burch after almost two years and I was that locations top sales person- Let me tell you the truth about working for Tory Burch: This company needs a major overhaul in how they treat associates. They want the moon and above from seasoned sales associates but micro manage them to pieces. You will feel like you have been overlooked or crossed by management and/or coorperate atleast 10 times while you work here. That feeling you will get of being inadequate is just because no matter how much you exceed numbers there is always something new for managers to nit pick. Oh-- and you will do all of this for 12 dollars an hour! Yup. The 3% commission is taxed so heavily you will probably still not be able to pay your bills so I guess take comfort in the fact that you get a discount off a bag you are already sick of looking at. As a sales associate you will have times where you feel like your brain is going to explode. You have clients texting you, calling you at the store and constant walk in foot traffic all while managers watch you on camera wondering why aren't you in shoes or has anyone helped that lady at sunglasses. When you think you just cant take it anymore you get a bad customer review because the poor customer you were helping in shoes didn't realize you are multitasking to the extreme and they felt like they didn't have your undivided attention-- then when you feel like youd rather bathe with a toaster then show up to work you get to have a "touch base" where they find something wrong with your otherwise perfect performance. By the time I left this company I would have taken a job ANYWHERE to get away.
