Although this is a tough job, it can really give you a wonderful opportunity to make more money than any other company I've come across. When they save your life can change over night, it really can. Best out of college job you can find no doubt at giving you a shot to make some real money plus great starting salary.
Cons
If you have other obligations, need work/life balance this is definitely not the job for you. You can expect to work multiple weekends every month and well beyond established hours. THIS IS A 24/7, 365 JOB especially when you are trying to establish yourself as an independent broker. Sales is not for everyone however it is true when they say- YOU GET OUT WHAT YOU PUT IN. If you're thin-skinned and not aggressive you will not make it plain and simple.
