Pros
Great atmosphere with good people and a solid hands on learning environment. Potential for making a substantial amount of money. The company has fantastic training for developing communication skills and selling techniques. It always seemed that there was never a situation, no matter how difficult or stressful that situation was someone else hasn't been through and couldn't help you with it. Fun activities, happy hours…etc
Cons
Phones sales. Somewhat cut throat with other brokers within the company (naturally) but can get sticky. They do however have rules in place to deal with these issues. My main issue was somewhat part of the nature of the job in being that your salary and livelihood could be cut in a day because of the negligence of a truck driver in which you have limited control over. Some carriers are a great experience but it only takes one bad apple to lose your biggest customer.
