Pros

The job provides flexibility which has been is beneficial for those in school/graduate program as it allows for them to work around their class schedule. They even offer discounts for certain schools/programs for people wanting to pursue a graduate degree in the field of ABA. Total spectrum is a great place for practicum students to get hands on experience and supervision towards sitting for their exams! My supervisors have been helpful in providing me supervision and constructive feedback on how to improve my clinical skills and establish a strong foundation of what a career in ABA entails.

Cons

Depending on client availability in your area you could have longer drive times (which is reimbursed if you drive over a certain mileage/time) Some days are tougher than others but that is to be expected when working with children

Pros

All of my coworkers are friendly, helpful, and straight to the point. I always appreciate quick responses and feedback that comes off as constructive and not critical. There are opportunities to grow within the company if you are pursuing your BCBA credential, and it is a great start for others pursuing experience related to other fields such as OT, speech, etc.

Cons

Driving can be a little time consuming, but it is required, and this is disclosed when beginning the interviewing process.
