      Pros

      An incredibly professional, talented, and hardworking team. Being a union shop provides a lot of stability, worker rights, and due process with management.

      Cons

      The pay. While there are union minimums guaranteed by contract, individual raises are difficult to get.

      Definitely not a bad thing to have on the resume

      Pros

      You get experience producing, which can be put on your resume technically as either "producing", ""copyright", because what you type goes into GPS systems, and you have the opportunity to be on the air on many different stations around the Bay Area where you can find your niche. I stayed for a couple of years and learned a lot about the business.

      Cons

      The pay isn't incredible, its definitely rising above 20 plus an hour, but the demand for traffic news isn't as high with things like google maps and Waze, but its fun to talk on the air nonetheless.
