Pros

Total was a fair employer. Though as a contracted staff, it's easy to feel discriminated against sometimes in terms of benefits but they made up for this by creating a very healthy and conducive work environment for all. Team building activities also helped in solidifying relationships between colleagues, project teams and managers.

Cons

Limited career advancement opportunities for contracted staff.

allows freedom in exploring tasks assigned. encourages mobility.

Cons

HQ is often very fickle and dont give clear direction. not advisable to join if you like structure. higher management is often engaged in discussions with no conclusions. not sure if opportunities are there for non-french speaking as oppose to the french speaking.
