Cons

Boring, low growth, very slow advancement. You are working to slowdown the inevitable decline of the fab rather than trying to improve it. Low raises. Lots of overtime, low vacation days.

24/7 manufacturing, requires attention and work outside of the regular working hours The dynamics of day to day is pretty stressful and not for everyone
